Greenville Early College High School Welcomes Class of 2030

GREENVILLE, Texas — Greenville Early College High School has introduced its newest group of students, welcoming 62 freshmen into the Class of 2030 cohort.

Of the incoming class, 20 students will pursue the engineering track, while 42 have enrolled in the allied health pathway, reflecting continued interest in healthcare-related careers.

As a school-within-a-school program, Greenville ECHS allows students to earn more than 60 college credit hours while working toward an associate degree through its partnership with Paris Junior College. The program is designed to give students a head start on both college and career opportunities while still in high school.

Chancellor Dr. Rebekah Russler said the new class has already shown strong enthusiasm.

“The enthusiasm from this group has been incredible,” Russler said. “They are eager, motivated, and ready to take on the challenges that come with being part of Early College High School.”

The program continues to grow, with 62 new students joining as 17 seniors prepare to graduate this year. District officials said the increase reflects rising interest from students and families seeking advanced academic opportunities.

Growth has been particularly strong in the allied health track, which has expanded to meet demand for careers in the healthcare field. School leaders said the pathway equips students with skills and knowledge that can lead directly into high-need professions.

With a new class beginning and another preparing to graduate, Greenville ECHS officials said the program continues to build opportunities for students while preparing them for success beyond high school.
