On Monday, August 18, 2025, at 8:33 p.m., Sherman Police responded to the 1200-block of Vietnam Veterans Parkway after reports of a major vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car.
Officers arrived and located the motorcycle’s driver, a 20-year-old male, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed that next of kin has been notified.
Preliminary information indicated the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it struck a passenger car that was turning to proceed westbound. The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Sherman Police Department’s Critical Accident Investigation Team is leading the investigation, which remains ongoing.
