On October 19, 2023, at approximately 11:12 p.m., Greenville Police Department officers responded to a call of a shooting inside a residence in the 2200 block of Stanford.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased 31-year-old male inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. There was reportedly a physical altercation between the victim and another male that led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and this is all the information that can be released at this time. The name of the deceased is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.
