Tragedy struck Greenville on Saturday morning when two separate crashes claimed the lives of two individuals. At 10:00 am, Greenville Police responded to a head-on collision in the 6900 block of Joe Ramsey Boulevard. The accident involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle, resulting in the loss of one person's life. Emergency services, including Greenville Police, Greenville Fire and Rescue, and Hunt County EMS, arrived at the scene to assist.
Around the same time as the Joe Ramsey Boulevard incident, another crash occurred on FM 1570 and Harrell Street, situated between State Highway 66 and Interstate 30. Hunt County EMS and Greenville Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene where two passenger vehicles were involved in the accident. One person lost their life in this collision.
The local authorities are actively investigating both incidents to determine the causes of the accidents.
