Adair was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence (DWI) and resisting arrest. This arrest followed Adair's previous day's encounter with Greenville Police, where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance (CS PG 1 <1G). At that time, he was granted bail set at $20,000, which he was able to pay, securing his release from jail.
