Trusted World Donates Six Pallets of School Supplies to Greenville ISD

The Trusted World organization, a steadfast supporter of Greenville Independent School District (GISD) for many years, brought smiles to the faces of Teacher Supply Closet volunteers this week. They surprised the volunteers with an exceptionally generous donation of six large pallets brimming with school supplies.

"We appreciate Trusted World donating supplies to the teachers and students of Greenville ISD," expressed Teacher Supply Closet volunteer Jan Teeters. "They are a great community partner!"

The Teacher's Supply Closet serves as a vital hub for accepting and distributing donated school supplies and other essential items for both students and teachers within the GISD community. The range of supplies spans from notebooks, pens, pencils, and glue sticks to classroom decorations and books.

The enduring support provided by Trusted World continues to make a significant difference in the lives of GISD students and educators. The organization's commitment to education and the community is deeply appreciated by all involved.

Greenville ISD extends heartfelt thanks to Trusted World for their unwavering dedication and generosity, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the learning environment for students and educators alike.

About Trusted World

Trusted World was founded by Michael Garrett, who specializes in efficiencies and process control and is trained in Six Sigma, S.P.C, and lean manufacturing.

Trusted World was established to help resolve situational poverty by providing a more effective donation process while tapping into a naturally built distribution system – first responders, social workers case managers, crime victims advocates, school counselors, etc.

Trusted World provides clothing, food, and personal care items, so first responders can focus on their core mission and not spend time trying to find the much-needed resources. Trusted World provides this service to our partners at no cost.

Through a grant from the UT Dallas EPICS* program, Trusted World has worked with the EPICS students to develop our inventory system. Our methods and processes and their coding. This project allows the student to address real-world problems while still working under UTD guidelines and supervision. The gives the student the best of both worlds while receiving a grade for their work.
