On March 2, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m. City services responded to calls of damaged buildings and downed trees as a result of storms.
Most of the structural damage was to buildings downtown (at the Prairie Coffee Company, Central Christian Church, and a vacant building next to the Magic Bubble) and one building at the corner of Oneal Street and Wesley Street.
City crews have worked to ensure that roads, parks, and other facilities, and roads are safe.
