On September 2, 2023, 57-year-old Willette Glenn was taken into custody by Greenville Police Officers and charged with three counts of making terroristic threats against a peace officer or judge.
Glenn, who has a history of violent incidents, made headlines in 2015 when she was named one of Hunt County Crime Stoppers' Most Wanted Fugitives due to a probation violation related to an assault on a public servant case.
Subsequent to that, on July 10, 2018, Glenn found herself behind bars once again, facing charges of injury to a child, elderly, or disabled person with internal bodily injury, along with criminal mischief exceeding $100 but less than $750. In April of the previous year, 2017, she was arrested for public intoxication. A few months later in the same year, she faced yet another arrest, this time for injury to a child.
Her bond has been set at $1 million, and there is uncertainty surrounding whether this case is related to a previous arrest in 2022 on identical charges.
