Aspiring to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community, Greenville's Citizens Police Academy is set to kick off its next session on September 11, 2023. The academy promises participants an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the rigorous training recruits undergo before joining the force. Led by actual police officers and civilian employees, the program aims to provide an accelerated overview of the diverse operations of the Police Department. With a focus on enhancing understanding and fostering effective partnerships, the academy invites community members to join in this crucial effort.
The next Citizens Police Academy Class is tentatively scheduled to start on September 11, 2023.
