Hunt County Authorities Execute Narcotic Search Warrants Near Elementary Schools, Three Arrested

On August 15, 2023, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office conducted the execution of two narcotic-related search warrants in separate locations, namely the 1200 block of Honeywood Lane in Royse City, TX, and the 100 block of Silver Charm Lane in Caddo Mills, TX. These locations were found to be in close proximity to elementary schools within the region.

The search warrants were carried out as a direct outcome of a collaborative investigation involving the Hunt County Narcotics Unit, the Rockwall Police Department, and the Royse City Police Department. As a result of the successful execution of these warrants, law enforcement officials were able to seize a quantity of narcotics, along with associated paraphernalia. Additionally, two firearms and a sum of US currency were also confiscated during the operation.

Three individuals were taken into custody during the execution of the search warrants.

Hunt County Sheriff Terry Jones emphasized the commitment of his office to combatting illegal narcotics activity within Hunt County. Sheriff Jones sternly stated that such unlawful endeavors would not be tolerated in the area, and he vowed to persistently investigate and address the sale of illegal narcotics not only at the aforementioned locations but throughout the entire county.

In expressing his gratitude, Sheriff Jones extended his thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Hunt County Narcotics Investigators, the Criminal Investigation Division, as well as the Rockwall Police Department and the Royse City Police Department.
