On August 13, 2023, Greenville Police Officers were dispatched to the area of State Highway 66 and FM 3211 in reference to a vehicle accident involving a small passenger car and a semi-truck. Justice of the Peace Money was called to the scene, and the driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending confirmation by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
The driver of the semi-truck reported no injuries and has been fully cooperative with the ongoing investigation. At this time, no charges are expected to be filed against the semi-truck driver, who remained at the scene. No further information is being released at this time.
