ROYSE CITY, Texas — Hunt Regional Healthcare has expanded its orthopedic and sports medicine services to Royse City, providing residents in Royse City and surrounding communities with greater access to specialized musculoskeletal care.
The new clinic is located inside Hunt Regional Medical Center Royse City at 6743 Interstate 30 East, Suite 203.
The practice offers treatment for a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including arthritis, broken bones, dislocations, fracture care, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injuries and pediatric orthopedic conditions. The clinic also provides arthroscopic procedures and total joint replacement services.
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Matthew Comley will see patients at both the Royse City and Greenville locations. Comley specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery and offers both surgical and non-surgical treatment options based on each patient's needs.
A Texas native, Comley earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He later completed fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, where he worked with athletes from Rice University and the NFL's Houston Texans.
Hospital officials said the expansion is intended to address the growing demand for orthopedic and sports medicine services in Northeast Texas while providing patients with care closer to home.
