GREENVILLE, Texas — Hunt Regional Healthcare recently announced the creation of Hunt Regional Specialists Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine following the acquisition of Pulmonary Associates of Greenville.
The move is intended to preserve and expand access to pulmonary and sleep medicine specialty care in the region. Mohan Philip, MD, and Michelle Iniguez, FNP-C, will continue seeing patients at their current clinic location.
Hunt Regional Specialists Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine provides care for patients with a range of lung and sleep related conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, pulmonary embolism, sleep apnea and insomnia.
The clinic focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and long term management of pulmonary and sleep disorders. Providers work closely with primary care physicians, hospital services and specialty care teams to coordinate patient care and support timely diagnosis and treatment.
Hunt Regional Healthcare officials said the acquisition helps ensure that the specialty services remain available in the community in the future.
“Providing a path forward for pulmonary and sleep medicine specialty care in our community for years to come is important to our board of directors,” said Hunt Regional CEO Lee Boles. “This investment will allow a continuation of service to our patients now and when Dr. Philip may choose to retire.”
