COMMERCE, Texas — The Commerce Police Department has named Officer Morgan Grider as its 2026 Officer of the Year.
Grider has served as a patrol officer with the department since September 25, 2024. Officials said she has demonstrated professionalism, integrity and a strong commitment to public safety throughout the past year.
In announcing the recognition, the department praised Grider’s dedication to the community and her positive impact within the agency.
"Thank you, Officer Grider for your outstanding service, leadership, and positive influence, it is an honor to serve with you," said the Commerce Police Department in a social media post.
