Greenville Man Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison in Child Trafficking and Pornography Case

GREENVILLE, Texas - A Greenville man was sentenced Monday to 30 years in prison after accepting a plea agreement for charges related to child trafficking and child pornography, according to court records.

On February 2, 2026, Kenneth Lee Willett appeared before the 196th District Court and entered a plea agreement accepting a 30-year sentence for Continuous Trafficking of Persons and a 20-year sentence for Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography. The sentences will run concurrently, with the 30-year sentence to be served without the possibility of parole.

The investigation into Willett began in July 2024 after the Greenville Police Department received multiple cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tips indicated Willett was promoting child sexual abuse material using several social media applications.

Greenville police obtained arrest warrants for Willett in August 2024, and he was taken into custody. During the arrest, officers seized Willett’s cellular phone and later obtained a search warrant to examine the device for evidence related to the pornography charge.

A forensic examination of the phone revealed evidence that Willett had been facilitating the prostitution of a child from Van Zandt County. Investigators determined Willett used social media applications to solicit men for sexual encounters involving the victim and arranged transportation for the child to travel to Greenville to engage in prostitution.

Willett was indicted in November 2024 on charges of Continuous Trafficking of Persons and Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography and remained in custody at the Hunt County Detention Center until his sentencing.
