GREENVILLE, TX - Greenville Police officers arrested a 21-year-old man Tuesday night, December 23, following a traffic stop that turned into a brief foot pursuit.
Police say Kaleb Shamar Medford of Greenville ran from officers after being stopped, attempting to evade arrest. After a short chase, an officer caught up with Medford and took him into custody. During the arrest, officers found Medford in possession of fentanyl.
Medford was booked into the Hunt County Detention Center early Wednesday morning, December 24, at 1:52 a.m. He is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B, less than one gram, and Evading Arrest or Detention. His total bond was set at $20,000.
Court records show Medford was previously arrested earlier this year, on April 1, 2025, for Possession of Marijuana.
