ROYSE CITY, Texas—A 2-year-old boy who was the subject of an Arkansas Amber Alert was recovered safely in Royse City on Tuesday night after police stopped a vehicle on I-30.
At approximately 9:45 p.m. on September 23, Royse City Police Officers pulled over a vehicle linked to an Amber Alert issued earlier that day for Bryson Lavell Hutchinson. The child had been reported missing from England, Arkansas, around 3 p.m.
Officers found the missing boy unharmed inside the vehicle.
The driver, identified as Tikeyonna Hutchinson, was taken into custody without incident. Hutchinson, who reported being the child's aunt, was transported to the Rockwall County Jail and is being held on a warrant for Aggravated Kidnapping out of Arkansas.
The Royse City Police Department was assisted in the operation by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the FBI, and the Collin County Sheriff’s Office. No further information is available at this time.
