Two Arrested in Separate Naples Traffic Stops; Drugs and Stolen Gun Recovered

On the evening of Friday, July 25th, a Naples K9 officer conducted two separate traffic stops that resulted in multiple felony arrests.

The first stop occurred in the area of Galloway Circle and Walnut Street, where a vehicle was pulled over for observed traffic violations. During the stop, the officer developed probable cause to search the vehicle and discovered approximately 215 grams of illegal drugs and narcotics. Both the driver and passenger were arrested on felony drug charges and transported to the Morris County Jail.

Later that night, another Naples K9 officer conducted a traffic stop on Front Street for a separate traffic violation. During the vehicle search, officers recovered a small amount of illegal narcotics and a handgun reported stolen. The individual in possession of the firearm was arrested on weapons charges and also transported to the Morris County Jail.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
