Texas Amber Alert Issued for Abducted 15-Year-Old from Lamar County

An Amber Alert has been issued for 15-year-old Erika Anderson, who was allegedly abducted in Lamar County, local officials reported. The alert was issued urgently as authorities seek any information that could lead to her safe return.

Erika Anderson was last seen at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 11000 block of 82 W in Brookston, a small community situated west of Paris in Lamar County. Specific details surrounding the circumstances of her disappearance have not been immediately released, leaving the community deeply concerned for her well-being.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Jonathan Ramirez, described as a white male with a bald head, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 148 pounds. The relationship between Ramirez and Erika has not been disclosed at this time. According to the Amber Alert, both Erika and Jonathan are believed to be in the city of Watauga, located within the Fort Worth-Dallas area. They are reported to be traveling in a green 2009 Toyota Camry with Texas license plate number RWW6625.

Erika, who may also identify as Erika McCarver, is described as a 15-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, Erika was wearing a gray hoodie.

Authorities are urgently calling on the public for assistance. If anyone has any information regarding Erika Anderson's whereabouts, Jonathan Ramirez, or the suspect vehicle, they are urged to contact 911 immediately. Alternatively, individuals with other relevant information that could aid investigators are encouraged to reach out to the Red River County Sheriff's Office at 903-427-3838.
