Search Warrant in Sulphur Springs Leads to Drug Charges, Children Removed from Home

A drug investigation led to the arrest of two individuals and the removal of four children from a home after Hopkins County deputies executed a search warrant on Drexel Drive.

On February 4, 2025, deputies discovered methamphetamine paraphernalia, including crystal residue, hypodermic syringes, and pipes, in areas accessible to the four children inside the residence.

Clinton David Elliott, 40, and Leah Maria Ehsani, 42, were arrested and charged with four counts of abandoning or endangering a child, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. Child Protective Services (CPS) was notified, and the children were taken into protective custody due to unsafe conditions.

Elliott and Ehsani were booked into the Hopkins County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
