On Thursday evening, December 12, 2024, Sulphur Springs police responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Broadway Street, where they encountered Bryan James Dell, accused of assaulting a female victim.
Police reports indicate that Dell slapped the victim in the face, causing pain and light bruising on her left cheek. The victim expressed her desire to press charges.
During the investigation, officers discovered Dell had an active warrant for a prior offense of driving with an invalid license. Dell was arrested at the scene and booked into the Hopkins County Detention Center.
He now faces charges of Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and the outstanding warrant for Driving While License Invalid.
