A Hunt County grand jury has indicted 44-year-old Tekeysha Letoya McCloud of Houston on charges of attempted murder after she allegedly tried to shoot a Greenville High School assistant football coach on July 9, 2024.
According to authorities, McCloud fired a single shot at the coach at the Greenville High School athletics complex. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and McCloud was arrested later that same day in Dallas.
Although the name of the coach was not released in initial reports, the Greenville Independent School District later confirmed that the coach involved had been fired following the incident.
