The Greenville Police Department is offering an opportunity for residents to gain insight into the daily responsibilities and training of police officers through its Citizens Police Academy. Participants will experience an accelerated overview of police operations, guided by actual police officers and civilian employees.
The program aims to enhance community understanding of police work and foster effective partnerships between law enforcement and residents. The next Citizens Police Academy is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 9, 2024. Attendance is free of charge.
