Meth and Stolen Firearm Seized in Quinlan Raid; Two Arrested, Three Suspects Sought

On Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, a joint investigation involving the Hunt County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and Quinlan Police Department led to the execution of a search warrant in the 500 block of E. Kirby Street in Quinlan. The investigation, which focused on stolen property and narcotics, resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, Xanax, GHB, and a stolen firearm.

Sebastian Zane Tatum, a 30-year-old resident of Greenville, was arrested at the residence. He has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 greater than 4 grams and less than 200 grams, with bond set at $25,000. Additionally, 28-year-old Scott Collingsworth Gaines Jr. of Rowlett was arrested on Thursday, August 15th, and charged with Theft of Property with 2+ convictions, enhanced.

Three additional suspects have been identified and are wanted in connection with this investigation: Cody Dougherty of Brashear, Rosaland Horton, and Jaclyn Kirby.
