On June 14, 2023, Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle who failed to yield to the right of way and pulled out directly in front of a Hopkins County patrol unit at Shannon Rd and Loop 301.
During the traffic stop, the arresting deputy observed the driver, identified as Nicole Pritchard, and passenger, identified as Richard Hall, display nervous and deceptive behavior. Pritchard denied deputies consent to search the vehicle and a K9 was requested to the scene.
Upon arrival to the scene, the K9 positively alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted by deputies.

Also located under the console area was a bank bag which contained drug paraphernalia, several plastic baggies, and a digital scale.
Upon locating the contraband, both Pritchard and Hall were placed in custody and transported to Hopkins County Jail.
