On May 20, 2024, Sulphur Springs Police were called to a disturbance in the 600 block of Ingram Street. Upon arrival, officers separated the parties involved in the altercation.
Further investigation led officers to find that 58-year-old Steven Dwayne Johnson allegedly threatened a woman with a knife, and spat on her neck. Johnson was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
As of now, no bond has been set.
