On May 13, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., an Aggravated Robbery took place at Super Handy convenience store, located at 1401 College St. The suspects, two individuals described as black males, entered the store wearing hoodies, masks, and gloves. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk.
Following the demand, the store clerk complied, handing over the money to the suspects. They then fled the scene through the adjoining neighborhood. Despite efforts from law enforcement, including the use of a K9 unit, the suspects were not located.
The incident was captured on video.
The Sulphur Springs Police Department urge anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Lt. Rusty Stillwagoner at 903-885-6438. Alternatively, individuals can provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 903-885-2020.
Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to an arrest.
