Sulphur Springs Police responded to a disturbance call on Thursday morning, May 9th, just before 9:00 A.M., at the 700 block of Camp Street.
Upon arrival, officers found Brittany Allen engaged in a heated argument with another man in a one-bedroom house. During the encounter, officers noticed illicit items in plain sight.
With Allen's permission, a thorough search was conducted, leading to the discovery of a pink plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine and other prohibited items.
Allen, 33, from Greenville, Texas, was found in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine. She was subsequently arrested and taken to Hopkins County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
