The Commerce Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying an individual suspected of theft at Walmart in Commerce on April 23, 2024. According to reports, an unidentified white male was caught on surveillance video engaging in the act of theft.
The suspect was observed removing a toaster oven from its box and replacing it with sports cards, resulting in a total loss estimated at $469.29. The individual was captured on camera entering the store from a white SUV.
In an effort to apprehend the suspect, Detective Sergeant Lucas of the Commerce Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the individual's identity to come forward. Detective Sergeant Lucas can be reached at 903-886-1139.
