On Saturday, a Harrison County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Delia Dr in Longview due to expired registration on a vehicle. During the stop, the deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was initiated, leading to the discovery of marijuana and crack cocaine hidden in the vehicle.
As the search progressed, the male driver fled on foot. Following a brief pursuit, the deputy apprehended the individual behind a nearby residence. Subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had provided false identifying information.
2The suspect, identified as Troy Hall, was transported to the main jail and booked for multiple charges, including evading arrest, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substances, and providing false information.
