Boles High School posted "In Loving Memory of Tyler Cummins" on their facebook page:
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved former Hornet, Tyler Cummins. The Boles ISD community mourns the loss of a remarkable individual who touched the lives of so many during his time with us.
From the moment Tyler transferred to our district, he became an asset to Boles ISD. His warm smile and kind heart made him a friend to everyone, and his positive energy was infectious.
Tyler's contributions to our school were numerous and impactful. He excelled in athletics and earned well-deserved all-district honors for his exceptional skills. On top of his athletic achievements, Tyler also earned the well-deserved recognition as a Shining Hornet Difference Maker, always going above and beyond to make a positive impact on those around him.
The loss of Tyler has left an indescribable emptiness in the hearts of his former peers, teachers, and coaches. His absence is deeply felt, and the void he leaves behind will forever remind us of the kind young man he was.
During this difficult time, let us come together as a community to offer support and comfort to one another. Let us cherish the memories we shared with Tyler and honor his legacy by embodying the kindness, compassion, and spirit he exemplified.
Rest in peace, Tyler. You will always hold a special place in our hearts, and your memory will live on through the lives you touched. May your family and loved ones find solace in the love and support that surrounds them.
