In the early hours of March 3rd, Generation Faith Center, a church situated in the same shopping center as Fix & Feed Quinlan Hardware Store, fell victim to a break-in. The incident involved the smashing of windows and the theft of musical instruments and a computer.
Thanks to surveillance footage, Quinlan Police Department initiated an investigation. The footage captured an individual, later identified as 41-year-old Anthony Scott Murphy of Quinlan, at the scene, aiding law enforcement in their efforts.
Following diligent work by officers, Murphy was apprehended on Wednesday morning and subsequently booked into the Hunt County Detention Center. He now faces charges of Theft of Property and Burglary of Building, with his bond set at $16,000.
