Greenville Police Arrest Man Found with Meth at Former Homeless Campsite

Greenville Police Officers responded to a property on Moulton Ave, across from the Knights Inn, after receiving reports of a man refusing to leave the area. The property, previously used as a campground by homeless individuals, is being actively cleared out using heavy machinery.

Upon arrival, officers encountered 48-year-old Donald Ray Grisby of Greenville. During a search, methamphetamine was found in his possession. Grisby was taken into custody without further incident.

He has been charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B, less than 1 gram, and Criminal Trespass. Grisby has an extensive arrest record in Hunt County that includes charges related to drugs, assault, and robbery/burglary.
