Sulphur Springs Police (SSPD) Officers responded to a welfare check on Broadway Street on Monday, March 11th, where they encountered 37-year-old Juan Medrano Tinajero Jr of Brashear, Texas. This marked the second time officers had been dispatched to the location regarding Tinajero Jr.
According to SSPD, during the encounter, Tinajero Jr was observed displaying irate behavior, including shouting aggressively at multiple individuals, walking in front of vehicles, and using profanity towards others on the premises.
Despite officers' attempts to calm the situation and instruct Tinajero Jr to return home, he persisted in his disruptive behavior, prompting officers to take him into custody. He was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct and transported to Hopkins County Jail without further incident.
