A Greenville man, Roderick La Tarrince Jackson, 28, who was reported missing on January 7, 2024, has been found deceased in Delta County.
The Delta County Sheriff's Office received a report about a body in the water at the middle Sulphur River Creek off FM 1531 on Saturday, March 2, 2024, around 8:03 p.m.
Multiple agencies including the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Cooper Fire Department, and Delta County Emergency Management responded to the scene.
Upon positive identification, Jackson's family was notified.
The investigation is ongoing, with no further details available at this time.
