Greenville Fire has dispatched firefighters to assist in battling the wildland fires raging across the Texas Panhandle. Crews are currently stationed in the areas of Canadian and Wheeler, though their locations may shift as the situation evolves.
"We are proud to have the capabilities and training to help other communities in their time of need," said a statement by the Greenville Fire Department.
