On February 18, 2024, a Hunt County deputy conducted a traffic stop on I-30 W at the 87 MM. During the stop, Francisco Antonio Martinez of Dallas, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of 14.3 oz of marijuana and THC oil.
Martinez was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana >4OZ<=5LBS and Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >=1G<4G. His bond amount was set at $57,500 and he bonded out of jail on the 19th.
