On Tuesday, February 20th, Hopkins County Sheriff's Deputy conducted a routine traffic stop on CR 2437 just south of CR 2430 involving a Dodge Challenger with expired registration.
Following the stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the discovery of marijuana and paraphernalia inside.
Danielle Denise Welch of Sulphur Springs asserted ownership of the paraphernalia and was subsequently arrested. Welch faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
