The City of Commerce is initiating a series of town hall meetings to gather public input on its strategic plan. These meetings aim to identify government priorities for the next three to five years.
The first meeting will commence at 6 p.m. tonight in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Commerce, located at 1401 Washington St.
A similar gathering will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Mount Moriah Temple Baptist Church, 202 Champion Ln. All community members are welcome to attend both meetings.
Additionally, there will be a forum held on Tue. Feb. 27, at Commerce City Hall, 1119 Alamo St. The business community is particularly encouraged to participate in this session.
Furthermore, the regular monthly meeting of the City Council is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tue. Feb. 20, at City Hall. During this meeting, the council and city staff will be accepting comments on the strategic plan.
