The investigation centered around alleged involvement in child pornography, leading authorities to issue an arrest warrant for Cuba.
On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Hunt County Sheriff Deputies executed the arrest warrant at Cuba's residence, taking him into custody without incident. Jose Luis Cuba now faces charges related to Possession of Child Pornography with Child Younger than 10 years of age, and his bond has been set at $100,000.
Cuba will be extradited to Kaufman County for prosecution. The arrest follows a diligent effort by the Terrell Police Department to take a child predator off the streets and protect residents, specially vulnerable children.
