Drug Bust on I-30: DPS Troopers Apprehend Woman with Methamphetamine and Marijuana

Teresa Glenn

On January 30, 2024, DPS Troopers were conducting routine traffic enforcement on I-30 eastbound at Mile Post 134 when they initiated a traffic stop on a black Dodge Charger for failing to display a front license plate. The driver, identified as Teresa Glenn, became the subject of further investigation due to inconsistencies in her travel story.

During the roadside inquiries, Glenn consented to a search of the vehicle, but she denied consent to inspect a cardboard box located in the trunk.

In response to the situation, Cumby Police K9 Officer and his K9 partner ACE were called to the scene. ACE, the K9, positively alerted to the vehicle, prompting a probable cause search of the cardboard box.

The search resulted in the discovery of approximately 487 grams of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 1 pound and 1.8 ounces of suspected marijuana inside the cardboard box. Without incident, Glenn was subsequently arrested and transported to the Hopkins County jail.
