Two Arrested for Warehouse Burglary in Sulphur Springs

Constance Jean Huie and Christopher Leon Huddleston

Hopkins County Deputies responded to a call for assistance near the railroad tracks on Church Street, where Sheriff Lewis Tatum was present. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male and female standing near a silver Honda Accord. Sheriff Tatum had been informed by a City of Sulphur Springs employee about the alleged burglary of a storage warehouse by the two individuals.

The suspects were identified as 40-year-old Constance Jean Huie and 43-year-old Christopher Leon Huddleston. Further investigation, including the review of video footage, revealed the subjects burglarizing the storage warehouse. The footage showed them taking property without the owner's consent and placing it into duffle bags concealed inside PVC pipes.

Huie claimed she was there to pick up Huddleston, along with the stolen property. Both Huie and Huddleston are now facing charges of burglary of a building, with a bond set at $75,000.
