On Saturday, January 20, 2024, at around 10:04 p.m., officers from the Greenville Police Department responded to reports of a fight in progress at the Majestic 12 movie theater situated at 1401 Joe Ramsey Boulevard. The altercation involved approximately ten juveniles.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 13-year-old male victim who had sustained stab wounds during the incident in the theater's parking lot. Emergency services were called, and the victim was airlifted to a Dallas hospital. As of the latest update, the victim is reported to be in stable condition.
A juvenile suspect has been identified, but the investigation is still ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the assault to contact Detective Potts at (903) 453-0428.
In response to the incident, the Greenville ISD Police Department has been notified to ensure the safety of the students involved.
