With the onset of challenging weather conditions in Northeast Texas, Paris Junior College (PJC) is gearing up to address potential delays or closures for the upcoming spring semester scheduled to commence on Tuesday, January 16.
In an effort to keep students and staff informed, PJC has outlined multiple communication channels, including the college's official website [www.parisjc.edu], PJC social media platforms, notifications to local media outlets, and the option for individuals to sign up for Dragon Alerts.
Dr. Jerry King, the interim president of PJC, stated, “We will probably decide Monday evening about possible closure or late opening. We know many students have to travel a distance, and we want to be sure they can do it safely.”
As spring registration continues, PJC is committed to assisting students in securing necessary classes. The college will extend its operating hours from Tuesday through Thursday until 6:00 pm next week. To streamline the registration process, students can apply online at [www.parisjc.edu/apply]. For any registration-related inquiries, individuals can reach out to apply@parisjc.edu or contact the respective campus offices at 903-782-0425 in Paris, 903-454-9333 in Greenville, or 903-885-1232 in Sulphur Springs.
