Preston John Thomas Miller

On January 8, 2024, deputies from the Hunt County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call, leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Preston John Thomas Miller of Quinlan. He is facing charges for assaulting a family member with the intent to impede bath/circulation, along with a theft charge for property valued between $750 and $2,500. Miller's total bond has been set at $52,000.

This is not the first encounter with the law for Miller. On March 7, 2023, he was arrested for a theft offense involving property valued between $2,500 and $30,000, which occurred on January 11, 2023. At that time, his bail was set at $7,500, and he posted bail on March 10, 2023, securing his release.

Additionally, it has been revealed that Miller is a registered sex offender, having been convicted on July 5, 2012, for aggravated sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
