The Hunt County Sheriff’s Department has informed the Garland Police Department that the body of 70-year-old Mr. Chambers has been discovered in the approximate area of CR 2526 in South Hunt County. Chambers had been reported missing by the Garland Police on December 31, 2023.
Chambers, who had last been seen at his residence in the 1600 block of Travis Drive on December 29, 2023, at 8:30 AM, was diagnosed with a mental condition. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of his death, although no apparent signs of foul play have been observed.
