After an investigation, officers arrested 51-year-old Sohail Asaraf Ali Nayani, a resident of Issaquah, Washington, who was visiting his parents. The specific family member involved in the attack has not been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing. Nayani has previously lived in Cypress, Texas, and Greenville, Texas. He is charged with assault family member impeding breath/circulation, with his bond set at $15,000. The Nayani family is known to own multiple rental properties in Hunt County.
On the same day, Greenville Police Officers were called to an apartment complex on Joe Ramsey Blvd for a domestic disturbance call. Following an investigation, officers arrested 24-year-old Cielo Delores Reyes of Greenville. She is charged with assault causing bodily injury family violence, and her bond has been set at $3,000.
