December 30, 2023: Greenville Police Arrest Marvin Combs
On December 30, 2023, Greenville Police attempted to arrest Marvin Combs of Greenville on charges of possession of CS PG 1 <1g in a drug-free zone. Combs resisted arrest, but officers were able to subdue him and transport him to Hunt County Jail.
December 30, 2023: DPS Stops Robert Johnson for Suspected Drunk Driving
On the same day, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) stopped Robert Johnson of Greenville for suspicion of driving under the influence. Johnson was arrested and charged with DFWI 2nd offense.
December 31, 2023: Coleena McGinnis Arrested After Speeding Violation
On December 31, 2023, a Hunt County Sheriff's Deputy stopped Coleena McGinnis of Commerce for a speeding violation. During the stop, McGinnis, agitated about a situation at home, made a terroristic threat against her family. She was subsequently arrested, and her bond has been set at $4,000.
December 31, 2023: DWI Arrest for Miguel Angel Baeza-Garcia
Also on December 31, 2023, a Greenville Police Officer stopped Miguel Angel Baeza-Garcia of Greenville for driving erratically. Baeza-Garcia was arrested for DWI. It is worth noting that he had a previous arrest in Greenville for public intoxication in May of 2022.
