Major Narcotics Operation Results in Arrest on Drug and Firearm Charges in Greenville

Narcotics detectives from the Greenville Police Department launched an investigation into Christopher Jerrod Houston for alleged illegal narcotics sales in the area. The culmination of their efforts occurred on the morning of December 15, 2023, as detectives, alongside other officers, executed a search warrant at 3909 Spencer Street in Greenville, identified as Houston's residence and a location associated with narcotics distribution.

Upon conducting the search, officers uncovered a cache of illicit substances, including methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax). Houston was promptly taken into custody, facing felony drug charges. In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement seized a significant amount of cash and three firearms from the premises.

Due to Houston's prior felony conviction and his current status on supervised release from Federal custody, he will face an additional charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Christopher Jerrod Houston has been booked into the Hunt County Detention Center on the following charges:
