On Sunday, November 26, 2022, at around 5:31 a.m., Farmersville police were called to the Farmers Food and Fuel Mart/Shell located at 1806 W Audie Murphy Pkwy in response to a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, local police units attended to the victim and initiated their investigation, gathering crucial information at the scene. The victim, injured in the incident, was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Initial findings from the ongoing investigation revealed that the shooting incident fell under the jurisdiction of Hunt County. The victim had driven to Farmersville seeking assistance. The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was notified and their investigators responded to the scene.
